Teye Electric Gypsy “La Llama”
.
La Llama “A” $9700-
“La Llama” (pronounce La Dyama) means ‘flame’ in Spanish, a stunning AAAA Flamed Maple top, stained with an amber to scarlet sunburst and sunk into the body, vintage dark caramel rear, all hand-rubbed violin finish, with Chrome hardware. A classic look that Teye could not simply ‘leave alone’.
“The original ‘La Llama’ was designed as tribute to the great Mick Taylor, whose playing has always tremendously inspired me and still brings shivers down my back.” (Teye)
The La Llama that Teye actually has made for Mick is currently on display at Gruhn Guitars, Nashville, TN.
- The La Llama is available with a Korina body. This was originally only intended for the Three Sister Guitars, but I like the sound of these, and will now offer it as an option. Korina option: $250 (depending on if I can find high quality, light-weight wood).
- Walnut neck: please add $ 100.
