Changing the Pick-ups

.

Three observations on changing the pick-ups:

  1. The pick-ups that I use for these Electric Gypsy guitars have been selected with great care. Yes, I have tried several other pickups: Seymours, Fralins, Tex-Tones, even Guitar-Fetish… Pick-ups that sound GREAT on other guitars may not do so on the Electric Gypsy. Do not expect great results simply based on your experience with other guitars.
  2. If you really feel the need to put in different pick-ups, I suggest you send the guitar in so that we can do the swap. This is never a case of warranty and you will be charged my shop rate of $75/hr.
  3. If you decide to do the swap yourself or to have your local shop do it: your warranty on the pickups and the warranty on the affected part of the circuitry are now lost (anything you touch with a soldering iron loses its warranty). The warranty on the rest of the guitar is still in effect, un-changed.
